At the time, Butch Viviers, Managing Director of Logic 360 in the UK, was exploring ways to boost efficiency, productivity and operational capacity for his growing UK business. During his visit, he sat down with his brother‑in‑law, Max Naudé, and a casual conversation soon turned into an experiment; Butch had travelled with a VOIP phone from the UK and asked Max if he could plug it in, just to see if it worked. It did.

That single moment sparked an idea. With Max’s support, Butch recruited one of Max’s administrators to trial remote resourcing for the UK operation. What started as a small test quickly grew into a viable business model. Over the next few months, through trial, error, and refinement, the South African support function expanded rapidly, so fast that in November 2017, Logic 360 South Africa (PTY) Ltd was officially incorporated.

Growth didn’t stop there. Within the first year, the business invested in its future by acquiring an entire floor of office space, followed shortly by a second, driven by increasing demand and continuous expansion. Max’s financial and operational expertise provided strong foundations from day one: HR, employment law, payroll, accounts, and dozens of behind‑the‑scenes complexities were built properly and professionally.
